It is the RMB model form the 1987 catalogue

BC Varitone system creates a wide range of tones
The variation in sounds has almost endless applications
(not just the expected heavy/metal tones)
Switchable from passive to a 9v Boost circuit
The boost is window cracking and speaker tearing loud
WAY more headroom than you could ever use
The controls look overwhelming, but after a little time and play they make sense
Top knob is volume
3 way toggle is the pickup selector
(neck – neck+bridge - bridge)
Middle knob is the boost volume
(volume only works with the boost toggle switch is on)
Bottom knob is Tone
Mini switch (between boost volume and Varitone) the boost on/off
“Chicken head” knob is the Varitone
Outer mini switch switch is the pickup phase
The next two mini switches are parallel/series mode for each pickup
(middle is neck pickup and lower is the bridge pickup)
The bass is a high gloss black finish

ITEM CONDITION
All machinery, electrical, and pickups are without issue. Some light surface marks and scuffing, some small impressions/dings/dimples/dents, light aging and tarnish to hardware, the chrome of bridge is flaking in some spots - as pictured.
