This is one of the very first production, and RARE to find JB62M – ASH US models
It is one of the highest end models of the mid 90’s
From the end of the FujiGen production era
It is a ’62 reissue, but with a Maple cap fingerboard
(instead of a Rosewood board as standard on the ’62 models)
The body colour is a stunning Translucent Blue (TBL)
Complimented with a Red Tortoiseshell pick guard
It has an amazing Ashwood Body, that is two piece !
Finished with the factory fitted chrome flat top control knobs
These earliest models also have far higher end features, including:
-Factory fitted with Fender USA Vintage Alnico Pickups
They have that classic JB sound and tone, lots of attack and growl
-Large based, open gear tuners
(compared to the later release models with the small bass tuners and standard JPN pickups)
-Spiral saddle bridge
(compared to the later release models with the standard slotted bridge)
The Maple neck is a far higher grade cut, with a beautiful tiger stripe grain

ITEM CONDITION
All machinery, electrical, and pickups are without issue. Some light surface marks and scratching, some small impressions/dings/dimples/dents, NO major paint chips or cracks, light aging and tarnish to chrome - as pictured.
