Very rare to find, early FujiGen production Jazz Bass
Aside from the stunning colour, this is a 32” medium scale bass
Super light weight, comfortable, and versatile
With a massive, and unique, punch through tone
The catalogue colour of this model “MBK”
It is a Metallic Black, that has very subtle gold fleck
In different lights/angles these shine through, it is an amazing finish in person and up close
Also the way the clear coat has aged and slightly yellowed it almost gives shades of green
The neck big feature is the Maple board
Compared to the usual Rosewood boards, these basses are brighter with a more pronounced attack, and snappier tone
But do not be fooled, it is still capable of window rattling low end
The PJM-65M model has active pre amp electronics and packs a massive punch
Controls are – Volume – Pickup Blend – Treble – Bass
Excellent total variation with the combined P/J pickups
