Product Description
1999-02, Crafted In Japan, “P” serial
This is the extremely sought after ST54-95LS model of the late 90’s
It is an unofficial Eric Clapton “Blackie” styled model Stratocaster
The unique features that make this such a desirable model are:
-10” fretboard radius
-Soft “V” neck profile
-22 fret neck
-Satin neck finish
-Active mid boost (second tone control)
Instead of the Lace Sensor pickups this model should have fitted, it features (what we believe to be) a factory “order made” variation
A set of Fender coded USA, Alnico single coils are fitted
They have incredible flexibility in tone between the selections
The bridge solo has that perfect glassy strat sound
The neck and neck/middle are well balanced with a beautiful rhythmic quality
Once the active boost is engaged this Strat screams, and unlocks even more variation
High gloss Black finish
One ply white pickguard
Alder body
Vintage sized frets
Maple one piece neck, fretboard
Standard 25 ½” scale
50’s era features…
-Fender stamped bridge saddles
