This is the T50S TL model, from some of the latest released, Fender Japan series
(previously known as a TL52 – 52’ RI)
The high end attention to detail of these models is amazing
1950’s era aesthetics and components
-Fender “Spahgetti” headstock logo
-One ply, 5 screw, matte black pickguard
-Vintage Kluson style sealed tuners
-Ashtray bridge, string through, 3 brass saddle
-Dome top control knobs with barrel switch tip
-“Skunk stripe” neck
-Bone nut
As a big step forward, these newer models are now factory fitted with higher spec USA electronics
-CTS USA volume and tone pots
-Oak Grigsby USA 3 way switch
-Switchcraft USA ¼” jack
The guitar is a high gloss black finish
Maple one piece neck, 42mm nut width
Standard 25 ½ ” scale, 9.5” board
The pickups have that classic Telecaster clarity and twang
Brilliant clean bridge tone, with a nice warm in the neck position
Overall great condition, but it does sport some stage play wear/ding/dents
Includes the a heavy duty/padded gig case/bag
ITEM CONITION
All machinery, electrical, and pickups are without issue. Some surface marks and scratching (gloss black shows everything), some small impressions/dings/dimples/dents (mostly body edges),one larger dent/filled chip near jack body edge (an obvious strap drop/slip) some very light aging to machinery - as pictured.
