Product Description
1995, Made In Japan, “T” serial
FujiGen production era
This is the VERY rare to find TLG-94P model
With matching neck and body pocket factory stamping
Found it the 1995 Fender JPN catalogue, “Custom Edition” section
(Notably, The Edge of U2 was seen playing the white version of this model during 90’s tours)
It is a prestigious, high end version of a ’62 style Tele
Featuring a high gloss black body finish, with matching headstock colour
The all gold logo headstock is all class, and shines in the light
But the true stand out is the two-ply double bound body
It is a premium black mother of pearl binding, with a very faint white outline
Now the exciting part…this model is originally a catalogue all gold hardware production
As amazing as this can look on a guitar, gold is not for everyone
I have been informed (from the second owner) that the original owner factory ordered chrome hardware for this guitar
It has an original, and infamous, “A” serial engraved Fender JPN bridge
(found in this 90’s period)
With a perfectly matching one ply matt pickguard, and dome top control knobs
It truly looks unique, and with these features, I sincerely doubt there is another in the world identical to this one
Specs are as foloows:
7.25” board, vintage frets
Contemporary “C” profile
Standard 25.5” scale, 1.66" nut
Maple one piece neck
Dark grained Rosewood fretboard
String through, top hat switch tip
The factory Alnico, single coil pickups sound amazing
They bridge has every bit of twang you would expect in a Tele
The neck is just that little darker, with a perfect rhythmic tone
Overall, it is in excellent condition for 30 years vintage
Being it is a 1995 model it is right on a significant Birthday
This would make an amazing birth year guitar for someone celebrating a 30th this year
Or an incredible piece for the collector/player
It has very little to no real wear on the neck or frets
Freshly set up with 10-46 strings, with a nice light and low action
Includes a plush blue lined Hard Cas
