    2004-05, Crafted In Japan, “R” serial

     

    Extremely sought after, and RARE to find, JB65B-US MH model

     

    This is one of Fender Japan’s higher end models

     

    A non catalogue release, and near impossible to find, especially outside of Japan

     

    It is a modelled after a ’65 Jazz Bass, with all the standout features of this time

     

    Including a bound neck, dot inlays, and matching colour headstock

     

    Factory fitted with Fender USA Vintage Alnico Pickups

     

    Classic JB sound and tone, lots of attack and growl

     

    Rarer still, it is finished in the always stunning Candy Apple Red

    (I have only ever seen examples of sunburst and white for this JB65MH model)

    ITEM CONDITION

    All machinery, electrical, and pickups are without issue. Some very light surface marks, some very small impressions/dings/dimples, NO major paint chips, very light aging to chrome, some micro movement between the plastic binding/maple/rosewood (NOT cracking or splitting, just normal shrinkage between the 3 different materials, like most bound necks) - as pictured.
