Product Description
1988-89, Made In Japan, “H” serial
From the earliest days of FujiGen production
This is the VERY RARE to find, and highly sought after, TLM-50 M model
Most commonly found in the late 1980s “PRO-FEEL” series
What makes it so special and unique?…
It is a Medium scale/neck Telecaster!
Specifically, it is 24 ¾”, which is the same as a Gibson LP or SG etc
(instead of the standard 25 ½” neck of a Fender Tele)
Making this guitar a weapon of choice for the smaller player
Or, for those searching for a more familiar neck as your Gibson, you can now have the glassy single coil tone and twang that you cannot get with humbuckers
This model also has a 21 medium sized frets
With a thinner 39mm nut neck width (standard Tele is 42mm)
Finally, a faster and more contemporary 9.5” radius
Maple one piece neck
Very shallow and fast soft “C” profile
Vintage Natural (“blonde”) finish
With a beautifully grained, Ashwood body
Three ply Black pickguard
Gotoh sealed headstock tuners
6 saddle string through bridge, for greater intonation
Top mount truss rod adjustment, micro tilt neck adjustment
Standard Telecaster controls = 1x volume / 1x tone / 3 way pickup switch
It is THE perfect model for the Telecaster lover and collector that prefers a shorter Gibson scale length
It is in incredible condition, very much near mint
Especially for a 35+ year old vintage instrument
It even retains the original “50” blue store sticker on the rear of the headstock
Truly one of the best examples of this model you will ever find
Very little to no real fret wear, all original, with no modifications
Includes the Original Fender Gig Case/Bag
